Sticky BBQ Chicken Wings – The Perfect Crowd-Pleaser!

There’s something about sticky, saucy wings that just hits the spot. Smoky, sweet, slightly charred on the outside, and incredibly juicy inside—these wings are dangerously addictive. Whether you’re making them for game night, a backyard BBQ, or just treating yourself, be prepared for them to disappear fast!

What You’ll Need:

  • 10 chicken wings

  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Let’s Cook:

Season the Wings – Lay out the chicken wings and give them a good sprinkle of salt and pepper. This simple step enhances the natural flavour of the chicken and sets the stage for that incredible marinade.

Make the Magic Sauce – In a bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, honey, and olive oil. The honey adds just the right amount of stickiness and caramelization when the wings hit the grill. Toss the wings in this mixture, making sure they’re fully coated. Cover and let them marinate for at least an hour, but if you can wait longer, the flavor gets even better!

Fire Up the Grill – Preheat your grill to medium heat. If using an oven, set it to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Grill (or Bake) the Wings – Place the wings on the grill and cook for about 8-10 minutes per side. Every few minutes, brush on some extra marinade for maximum flavour. If you’re baking them, cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.

The Final Touch – Once they’re beautifully golden and slightly charred, take them off the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve with coleslaw, fries, or a crisp salad. Just make sure you have plenty of napkins—these wings are gloriously messy!
