Juicy Beef Kebabs – Packed with Smoky Flavour!

Kebabs are one of those meals that just make you happy. They’re colorful, packed with flavour, and fun to eat. The combination of tender beef, grilled veggies, and smoky spices creates a dish that’s satisfying and delicious. Perfect for a summer BBQ or a quick weeknight dinner, these kebabs are guaranteed to become a favourite. 

What You’ll Need: 

  • 500g beef (cubed) 

  • 1 onion, cut into chunks 

  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks 

  • 1 zucchini, sliced 

  • 2 tbsp olive oil 

  • 1 tbsp ground cumin 

  • 1 tbsp ground paprika 

  • Salt and pepper to taste 

Let’s Cook: 

Marinate the Beef – In a large bowl, mix the olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the beef cubes and toss to coat evenly. Let the beef sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb all the flavours—this step makes a huge difference in tenderness and taste. 

Assemble the Skewers – Grab some skewers (wooden or metal) and start threading the beef, onion, bell pepper, and zucchini. Alternate the ingredients to make them look colourful and balanced. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes beforehand to prevent burning. 

Grill to Perfection – Heat up your grill to medium-high and cook the skewers for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally. You want that slightly charred, smoky flavour while keeping the beef juicy inside. 

Serve & Enjoy – Take the kebabs off the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Serve with rice, couscous, or warm pita bread with a side of tzatziki or hummus for an unbeatable meal.
